Nov 8, 2020 · Onefinity won two of the 4 categories that I've highlighted (Tied in one and only lost the 4th because of time). For those reasons I'm giving Onefinity the win. Remember, I've personally had an X-Carve, Shapeoko 3 XXL, and the Onefinity Woodworker CNC's in my shop. Since my shop is small, I only have room for one, and that one is the Onefinity CNC.
From what I can tell the only additional hardware needed is 4 x 35mm (OD) stainless steel tubes and 2 Lead Screws, it was surely for a good reason that they offered a third “stiffy” rail for the 35 mm rails on X axis on Woodworker and when relasing Journeyman they offer the new X rail for 48″ workarea width only with rails of 50 mm …No. The elite upgrade kit will only include the electronics, motors, and wiring to go from a non-elite to an elite version of your machine. I’m most interested in the X-35 Woodworker; but possibly the X-50 Woodworker. Using the shipping labels on the boxes for mine the X50 Journeyman X rail shows 60 lbs and the Y rail box shows 45 lbs. This does not include the Z slider plate which was packaged in one of the boxes but I don’t recall which one at this point. Feb 8, 2023 · OneFinity Woodworker CNC Machine. Onefinity offers two 32 x 32 CNC models designed specifically for woodworkers: the X-35 and X-50. I think both are great choices for guitar builders. The difference is the diameter of the hardened steel tubes (35 mm vs 50 mm), which means you get a larger stepper motor and more speed with the X-50.
